The Seehotel Sparer - now better than ever

Elegant and romantic - the new-look restaurant, lounge and bar.

New: enjoy a special kind of ambience. The entire restaurant area of the 4-star Seehotel Sparer on the Montiggler Lake has now been fully refurbished. Enjoy culinary delights and a stimulating atmosphere in sophisticated surroundings.

The romantic atmosphere of the Montiggler Lake is encapsulated in our “Lacus” lakeside restaurant with its refreshing, elegant details. The new “Sea Lounge” is, with its fashionable ambience, the central meeting point – ideal for a quick coffee, an aperitif in good company or a glass of fine wine in the evening.





The cosy original “Max Sparer Stube” can also boast a contemporary new feel: it is becoming a gallery dedicated to the South Tyrolean artist Max Sparer, with his memory as the central theme of its design concept. The great love of this musician, illustrator and painter was the Montiggler Lake, where he lived in the Seeschlössl for many years until his death in 1968. The Seehotel Sparer is proud to possess a large private collection of Max Sparer’s original works. Enjoy the effect radiated by these powerful images from a completely new perspective.

The day at the Seehotel Sparer begins with an extensive breakfast buffet. With its bio corner, selection of grains, fresh fruit and hearty dishes from our kitchen, it will get you in the right mood for the morning’s activities. At this time the Montiggler Lake has a special atmosphere, with the surrounding nature inviting you to take a brisk walk in the morning freshness.

During the day our lakeside restaurant offers à la carte fine cuisine and sweet delicacies. If you prefer we can also serve you with drinks, snacks or coffee and cake on the bathing jetty.





Evenings are the culinary high point. Our speciality is light Mediterranean cuisine, with the added bonus of a wide variety of fresh local produce. Enjoy an aperitif to start the proceedings at the bar or in the garden, then choose from our tempting 5-course gourmet menu. Our excellent wine selection will transform the evening into a celebration.
In fine weather you can dine on the lakeside terrace, with a quiet breeze rustling the surface of the lake.
