The larger Montiggler Lake is a natural bathing paradise. It was rated the cleanest lake in Italy in 2009 and even in April is warm enough for a cooling dip. Numerous comfortable spots around the lake offer a new perspective on the surrounding environment. Swimming, diving, boating or just enjoying the sun and listening to nature: there is plenty here for all the family.





Exclusive: if you are looking for peace and quiet, the Seehotel Sparer is the only hotel on the Montiggler Lake with its own private jetty and direct access to the water. And if the sun is not shining, you can enjoy splashing about in our indoor swimming pool.

Directly on the lake, right next to the hotel is the Montiggler Lido, an outdoor adventure pool complex with an Olympic-sized pool. The children’s pools and the longest fun chute in South Tyrol make the Montiggler open-air swimming pool into a favourite destination for children. In July and August there is an events programme for kids, while guests of the Seehotel Sparer have free admission to the open-air swimming pool and the large sunbathing area.
